On the 19th of February, 2019 experts of iC consulenten Ukraine took part in the kick-off meeting under the project “Thermal modernization (major repair) of buildings of communal non-commercial enterprise “Saint Zinaida Children clinical hospital” of Sumy City Minicipality” with the Mayor of Sumy, representatives of city municipality and Nordic Environmental Financial Corporation (NEFCO).
At the meeting Oleksandr Lysenko, Mayor of Sumy, summed up activities in energy efficiency sector for the last years, in particular, implementation of energy efficiency measures within Sustainable Development Action Plan for Sumy till 2050, cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH etc. In addition, the Mayor expressed readiness for further cooperation with NEFCO under launched projects and readiness to provide relevant financing of the project.
Tetiana Lytvyn, expert of NEFCO, introduced to the Mayor the team of experts of iC consulenten Ukraine and gave precise clarifications on principals and algorithm of their work within the project.
Thus, iC consulenten Ukraine will perform functions of a consultant within the project and shall assist on all stages of implementation, including stage of development of design documentation.
The consultant team includes Denis Vlasov, Head of expert team, Irina Omelianenko, Deputy Head and Procurement Specialist as well as Petro Halabitskyi, Energy Auditor. Irina Omelianenko told about the experience of the company in implementation of similar assignments, she emphasized openness of the consultant to cooperation and the focus on the outcome of all the members of the iC team, and also acquainted the participants with the specifics of the international procurement procedures. Denis Vlasov briefly described project stages, particularly project cycle, carrying out of energy audit, development of business plan etc. Petro Halabitskyi detailed work of the consultant at the stage of cooperation with project organizations and analyzed proposed measures for implementation.
