iC starts the pilot project on the Quality Control of roads rehabilitation in Ukraine

Last week iC Ukraine started new project in the road sector – Assessment of Quality of Ukrainian Road Maintenance Works in Kiev region. The pilot project was initiated by Ministry of Infrastructure in Ukraine. “We started pilot project in Kiev region with the foreign inspectors on board, which will provide their reports on the quality of works performed on the roads in Kiev region. …And this approach will be used on the  regular basis”, -said Minister Pivovarskyduring the press briefing on June 26. “For this pilot project we started our cooperation with the Austrian iC group. It is one of the biggest Austrian companies, working in more than 50 countries of the world with representative office in Ukraine as well. (Source :http://censor.net.ua/n341638).

Main tasks carried out by iC experts within this assignment include control of the work execution on the pothole repair of motor roads in the Kyiv Region and control of their quality, selective monitoring of the current repair works of motor roads and retrospective check of already performed repair works, assessment of compliance of the patching repair of roads with the Ukrainian and the EU standards.
