As a technical consultant, iC Ukraine provided advisory services on the reconstruction of housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the city. The project involved equipping 53 rooms and 22 smart apartments for IDPs achieved by renovating several floors of a dormitory and a municipal non-residential building. The project was implemented by the Khmelnytsky City Council, funded by the European Union and managed by NEFCO.
The reconstruction efforts covered a range of upgrades, including the replacement of utility networks and heating systems, repair and insulation of the roof, installation of individual heating points, the establishment of a public laundry room, deployment of solar panels, repair of shelters, and installation of a wheelchair lift for people with disabilities.
Besides, the non-residential building underwent roof repair, individual heating points installation, ventilation and heating systems replacement, and solar panels installation. All rooms and apartments were provided on a turnkey basis, including furniture, plumbing, appliances, and kitchenware. iC consulenten Ukraine provided comprehensive advisory support to the city at every project stage.
