On April 22, 2014, European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) published a booklet “Assessment and Recommendations on Ukraine’s National Energy Efficiency Action Plan”, in frames of the British-financed project “Ukraine’s Sustainable Energy Future – Challenges and Opportunities”.
The National Energy Efficiency Action Plan (NEEAP) to 2020 has been developed by the State Agency for Energy Saving and Energy Conservations (SAEE) of Ukraine within the framework of the Energy Community treaty. The assessment was based on the questionnaires sent out to the relevant market stakeholders to evaluate the content, targets, structure of the document, which should become the guideline for Ukraine to pursue the target of decreasing the energy consumption by 9% by 2020.
