Round-table discussion: “Energy Diplomacy: what does it mean for Ukraine.”

iC consulenten, acting as implementing partner of Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute, is inviting you to take part in the round table discussion “Energy Diplomacy: what does it mean for Ukraine” to be held on  April 25, 2017 at the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University  from 14:00 – 16:30. It takes place within a project, funded by the US and Bulgarian governments, aiming to support initiatives, related to energy security and energy diversification of the Western Balkan countries, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and Armenia.

Main topics to be discussed:

• Critical review of the status quo concerning the role of Ukraine in the European energy policy;
• Policy and legislative framework in Ukraine and its align with the EU energy policy;
• National and regional challenges ahead the implementation of the EU energy policy at national level;
• Energy projects of common interest;
• The role of the business and the civil society for achieving common European goals in the energy field
