Experts of iC consulenten shared experience at the ІІІ Ukrainian-German Forum “BEA: Bioenergy, Energy Efficiency and Agricultural Business”

On the 23^rd of October experts of iC took part in the ІІІ Ukrainian-German Forum “BEA: Bioenergy, Energy Efficiency and Agricultural Business” in Kharkiv. BEA is the biggest energy event in Eastern Ukraine, which takes place once per two years and unites over 300 participants from Ukraine, Germany and other countries of the European Union as well as more than 30 speakers from the leading companies and organizations, such as Lemken, Claas, Siemens, Rehau, Henkel, Strube, EBRD, UN, KWF, GIZ.

Vitaliy Shapovalenko, Energy Efficiency Institutional and Policy Expert, spoke about “Specific aspects in organization and financing of energy efficient projects in medical institutions”. Vitaliy presented experience of improving energy efficiency in medical institutions and main barriers; he covered at length financing of EE projects, sources and optimal modes of financing.

Sergey Novoselov, Energy Efficiency Finance Expert, shared advice on how to effectively implement energy efficiency projects in medical institution. His presentation was made in form of laconic though meaningful tips – starting from analysis of actual situation, analysis of actions to promote savings, up to respective calculations, and choosing of feasible project while building knowledge regarding project implementation risks.
