In May 2018 Elena Rybak, managing director of iC consulenten Ukraine, held a guest lecture at the Technische Universität Wien during the seminar of International Construction Project Management (ICPM).
Elena told future engineers about the infrastructure sector of Ukraine and the role of international experts for it.
Ukrainian market of engineering and consulting services is an excellent platform to build up professional career for engineers. “With all the challenges and changes currently happening in Ukraine the scope of the market for the coming decades is simply impressive”, – emphasised Elena. Ukraine still has to overcome corruption, implement real reforms and establish the rule of law. However, despite all difficulties, the country is witnessing growing economy, and demand for high quality experts, including the field of engineering consulting, is extremely high.
It is important to know, that successful operation on the market, requires strong knowledge of the Ukrainian market – legislation specifics, competition, practical challenges etc. “It is the market where you have to be present, to be successful, otherwise it will not work”- explained Elena”.
