Compliance Management System in reality of the Ukrainian business

Elena Rybak shared her experience on implementation and use of compliance system in reality of the Ukrainian business at the “Anti-Corruption & Compliance” seminar:

“Since 2015, iC group (iC consulenten Ukraine is a member of it) established effective Compliance Management System (CMS). The system is a strong inspiring factor for employees, especially those in Ukraine office, taking into account a level of corruption in the country.

How does the compliance system of iC consulenten work?

CMS is applicable for all stakeholders: employees, subcontractors and clients. The main principals are:

• Any misconducts must be immediatelly reported to the compliance officer and business partners immediately
• All charitable donations, sponsorships or political contributions need a special review
• All business transactions and payments should be recorded in a comprehensive and transparent way
• No gifts, entertainment and hospitality, which may be deemed to improperly affect the outcome of a business transaction or otherwise result in an improper advantage
• No tolerance for any forms of misconduct fraudulent, corrupt, collusive, coercive or obstructive practices will not be tolerated in any way.

Compliance Manager is a responsible person. Possible misconduct can be reported to the compliance-manager confidentially and anonymously – through the form at the web page.

Moreover, all employees of iC consulenten necessarily pass the compliance trainings. A special section with compliance statement is included in all contracts with employees, subcontractors and clients. Special attention is given to the strict observance of the tender procedures”.
