Coverage on the grant allocated under the EU program “Support of the implementation of Energy Strategy of Ukraine in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources”, the main aim of which is to reduce the gas consumption.
The edition states that enterprises of Teplokommunenergo and domestic consumers who want to implement projects on reduction of gas consumption can apply for this funding.
Managing Director of “iC consulenten” Elena Rybak expressed her opinion of who will decide which projects will be funded by the European grant and which results should be expected after the successful implementation of these projects:
“The result of the implementation of this program should be not only a short-term reduction of the natural gas consumption. …. After this heating season we will have another one, that’s why all measures, undertaken now, should form the basis for the subsequent strategic reforms of the Ukrainian energy sector.”
