On the 23rd of May in Kanev Elena Rybak, Managing Director of iC consulenten, attended the general meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Association “Ukrhydroenergo”, Energy Department of ”Ukrainian Academy of Sciences” and Energy Veterans’ Union of Ukraine. Problems and visions of small hydropower development in Ukraine were discussed during the meeting, as well as the construction of the Kaniv HPP. Participants of the meeting also visited future construction site, located in Buchak village of Kanev region.
Except for hydropower, the renewable energy sector was also discussed ( namely, solar and wind) in particular the legal basis of renewables’ development in Ukraine and a need for legal reforms in this sector.
Additionally, our company became a Member of the Association “Ukrhydroenergo”.
“Hydropower sector is very interesting for us as one of the priority areas of iC activities”, said Elena Rybak. – “Ukraine has a huge expertise in this sector and we look forward to the possibilities of cooperation with other members of the Association in projects not only in Ukraine, but also in other countries.”.
