In March 2014 iC completed the Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) of a food production facility located close to Kyiv. The facility produces breakfast cereals: flakes, muesli&crunches, quick-fix oatmeal porridge, etc.
The objective of the EDD was to provide an independent evaluation on the environment, health and safety (EH&S) and fire protection status of the Site, specifically the identification of issues with the potential to have a material impact on the value of the Site. Material impacts may include operational non-compliance issues associated with existing and reasonably foreseeable and relevant EH&S and fire protection regulations as well as risks associated with impact on environment (i.e. groundwater, soil).
The Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) was performed in accordance with general Guidelines of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard E 1527-05, Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments, which conforms to the requirements of the International Standards Organization (ISO) 14015: 2010 Environmental Management – Environmental Assessment of Sites and Organizations. The EDD was adopted to relevant local legislation and carried out by highly qualified local staff.
