In March 2014, iC consulenten welcomed the representatives of Kyivenergo, major Kyiv electricity and heat supplier, in Vienna. iC organized a mission for Kyivenergo with the goal to bring the best international practices and present Austrian experience in implementation of the energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.
During the two days visit iC arranged several meetings with the representatives of Austria’s largest energy service provider WienEnergie -district heating operator, electricity supplier and owner of waste incineration facility in the center of Vienna. The discussions were held with the focus on energy efficiency measures, usage of renewable energy sources, ensuring commercial viability and efficiency of district heating company operations. Additional insights where received from Austrian Development Bank (OEeB) and several equipment suppliers.
We have been honoured to welcome Kyivenergo team in Vienna and hope that this was only the first step in strengthening business cooperation between Ukraine and Austria.
