Energy Audit in the Kindergarten “Veselka”, Ivankiv city, Kyiv oblast, Ukraine

In frames of the Energy Audit the main energy consumers have been identified, the energy usage, possible savings and costs of achieving the savings have been analyzed. The consultant identified 3 packages of different energy measures relating to the:

1. Heating System
2. Building physics
3. Ventilation and electrical equipment

The energy audit was conducted in one kindergarten with 120 children and 40 employees being primary users

Project specifics

Recommendations on improvement of the energy performance cannot be provided based only on financial profitability assumptions, as the investment can hardly be returned. However, from the ecological perspective, as well as from the improvement of the indoor environment point of view and, consequently, the health and well-being of the children, it pays off immediately
