Project description

The objective of modern planning in river engineering in accordance with the Austrian water law or the water framework directive of the EU, besides pure water protection requirements, is the achievement and maintenance of a good ecological condition of the surface water. In this project, conceptual realisation variants were developed and analysed, intended as guidelines for specific realisation planning.

4 times 2 km each on Bregenzer Ach river and ILL river (one current situation and 3 variants each).

Interdisciplinary project together with the federal office for water management (scientific evaluation) and the company REVITAL (ecology).
