“One of the projects we supported in the certification process was Lidl logistics center in Arja Vas village (Zalec, Slovenia). It was the first LEED certification in this country rated Gold. Due to implementation of energy efficient technologies, such as installation of highly effective cascade refrigerator system, LED lighting equipment and 1MW photovoltaic system, the expected energy savings are up to 48% and CO2 emission reduction of 450 tons/a, which in total will result in USD 180 000 annual savings”, — Velislava Petkova, Project Manager of CES clean energy solutions (member of iC group) speaks about certification in an interview for a special edition of Commercial Property.
