On December, 11 2015, GEF/UNIDO UKR IEE Project Implementation Unit with organizational support from iC consulenten and the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine organized a training for representatives of financial institutions.
During the workshop, international experts in Energy Management Systems implementation (EnMS) Liam MakLafflin and Egmont Otterman explained to the representatives of 10 Ukrainian banks how the implementation of EnMS can be attractive for financing. Quick and efficient modules caused a lively discussion between the audience and trainers.
This training was a first step to strengthen capacity on the topic of Energy Management Systems in the Ukrainian financial sector. In accordance with UNIDO representatives, it is also further step to encourage the financial sector to participate and promote implementation of Energy Management Systems in Ukrainian Industry following a number of Project’s successful workshops and trainings for energy managers and experts.
The overall assessment of the workshop was made by the iC consulenten experts on the basis of the questionnaires distributed during the workshop.
4.5 out of 5 – was how Ukrainian bankers evaluated the first UNIDO workshop for the financial sector. It shows a good perception of the audience of technical information, delivered to non-technical professionals, and the need to offer such trainings on the market.
