iC consulenten in association with CES clean energy solutions GesmbH was contracted by the European Investment Bank’s (EIB) in 2017 for the assignment “Ukraine Higher Education Energy Efficiency Audits – 2”.
As announced by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine on January 18th, 2018 seven higher education institutions will commence implementing energy efficiency projects. This was discussed at the joint meeting of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the European Investment Bank and Nordic Environment Finance Corporation.
In frames of this strategically important for Ukraine project, iC and CES teams of international and local experts conducted energy efficiency audits in four universities: Chernihiv State Technological University, Sumy State University, Poltava National Technical Yuri Kondratyuk University, Vinnytsia National Technical University. In total 98 buildings were audited in accordance with international standards. In January 2018 the results of performed energy audits were presented to the Ministry and the EIB.
