iC consulenten together with CES clean energy solutions perform overall project management and support Project Implementation Units in 5 universities of Ukraine:
- Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;
- Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University;
- Uzhhorod National University;
- Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture;
- National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.
In total, it is 26 educational buildings and dormitories, which makes around 250 thous. m2 of heating area. The total investment is approximately 27.5 million euro.
The project is implemented under Ukraine Higher Education Program, financed by the European Investment Bank together with the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (Nefco) and aimed at thermal modernization of universities’ buildings. Apart from the universities, the main stakeholder of this project is the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. As of now, we have the following results:
- 5 universities completed tendering under the international procurement rules;
- 4 universities already concluded “turn-key” contracts with the construction companies;
- All contractors received first payments!
- Design documentation is under development.
Therefore, we are looking forward to the start of the construction season 2022!
